INVITATION TO RESIDENTS OF WOLLONGONG, SHELLHARBOUR AND KIAMA LGAS

You are invited to attend a community meeting to give input to and hear about the future of environmental protection and development through a Regional Planning Strategy covering the the next 25 years in the Illawarra Region.

WHEN: Thursday 30th March 2006, from 6 8pm
WHERE: Wollongong Community Hall, 93 Crown St, Wollongong
WHO: Anyone interested in coastal and hinterland development issues and how they effect our local and regional environment.

The meeting will look at :

1. An update of the regional planning process and ways to promote environmental outcomes.
2. Identify regional and local conservation priorities and threats.
3. How to ensure environmental values are protected and enhanced in regional planning

Representatives from Dept of Planning will be there to discuss the Regional Strategy and answer your questions.
